Why flight delay alerts beat finding out later
Most passengers learn they had a claim months after the flight, when the boarding pass is gone and the airline’s emails have been deleted. By then the case is harder to make and easier to refuse. Watching the flight closes that gap: we record the schedule and the actual arrival as they happen, so the evidence exists before you know you need it.
You give us a flight number and a date. We do the rest, and you hear from us only if something goes wrong.
How we track my flight compensation from the record
We read the same flight data the airline answers to: scheduled departure and arrival against what actually happened. When the arrival lands three hours or more behind schedule, or the flight never operates, the watch fires.
The email that follows carries the distance band and the amount your route attracts under EU261 or UK261 — €250, €400 or €600 per passenger. The calculator gives you the same figure now if you would rather not wait.
Flight disruption alerts for a trip already booked
Add the flight as soon as you book it. Add each leg of a connection separately, because a claim is judged by the arrival at the end of the journey and every leg can be the one that breaks it.
If your flight has already been disrupted, skip the watch and use the flight check instead. For what happens on the night itself, read the stranded guide.
Flight delay alerts: common questions
What do the flight delay alerts actually cost?
Nothing. Watching a flight is free and always will be, whether or not anything goes wrong. We only earn if a flight qualifies, you choose to claim through us, and the airline pays: a flat fee per passenger, taken from nothing else.
When will I hear from you?
Only when there is something to say. If your flight runs on time you hear nothing at all. If it is cancelled, or lands three hours or more behind schedule, you get one email with the flight already checked and the claim ready to send.
How far ahead can I register a flight?
As far ahead as you have booked. The watch sits dormant until the day of travel, then follows the flight through departure and arrival. You can add several flights, and each leg of a connecting journey counts as one.
What happens to my booking details?
We use them to identify the flight and nothing else. We do not sell them, and we do not pass them to airlines. If you forward a booking confirmation by email we read the flight out of it and keep only the flight number, route and date.
