Trust, security & privacy
A compensation claim involves personal data and travel documents. Here's exactly how we treat them.
Built to keep your data safe
Practical safeguards across every stage of your claim.
Encryption
Traffic to the site is encrypted with TLS, and your data is stored encrypted at rest by our database provider. Sign-in links and sessions use single-use, hashed tokens.
Access controls
You can only see your own claims — every request is checked server-side. Internal staff access is role-gated, and each staff view of a sensitive document is recorded in the claim's audit log.
Document handling
Uploaded documents are stored privately and served only to you and the staff working your claim — never from public URLs. We ask only for documents your claim actually needs.
Data minimisation & retention
We collect what's needed to assess and pursue your claim. Identity documents and payout details are requested only when genuinely required. Data is retained only as long as legal and accounting duties require, then deleted or anonymised.
Payment security
Card payments are processed by a dedicated payment provider; we don't store card numbers. Compensation funds are tracked separately from our own fees in our records.
Your rights
You can request access, correction, export or deletion of your personal data (subject to legal retention duties) at any time.
Incidents
If a security incident ever affects your data, we will investigate, log it, and notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
No surprises, no hidden cut
No percentage. No hidden cut. No fee unless we succeed.
Fixed €39 success fee
One flat fee, charged only when compensation is recovered. You keep 100% of the compensation — never a percentage. No win, no fee.
Priority Review — €9 one-time
An optional one-time fee to move your claim forward in our internal review queue. It does not improve your legal entitlement or the airline's decision.
FlightComp+ — €49/year
Optional annual membership covering unlimited eligible claims with no per-claim success fee while active.
